you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted.” Ps 138: 2-3

ROMNEY LAUNCHES SWEEPING CRITIQUE OF OBAMA’S MIDDLE EAST POLICY: Tuesday’s presidential debate focused overwhelmingly on domestic and economic issues, but some of the sharpest exchanges came on the topic of the Middle East. Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney launched a sweeping critique of the US Administration's policy in the region, terming President Barack Obama "weak" and saying his policies led to negative developments in Syria, Iran, Egypt and Libya. "The president’s policies throughout the Middle East began with an apology tour and pursue a strategy of leading from behind, and this strategy is unraveling before our very eyes," Romney charged. Regarding Iran and Syria he said, "We have Iran four years closer to a nuclear bomb. Syria’s not just the tragedy of 30,000 civilians being killed by a military, but also a strategic - strategically significant player for America." (J.Post) The topics in the second presidential debate between US President Obama and Mitt Romney Tuesday night, ranged from immigration and gun control to gas prices, taxes and women in the workplace. Pray for the October 22 final debate that will focus on US foreign policy. Among other things may Obama’s misleading statement made Tuesday night when asked about the primary cause behind last month’s terrorist attack in Libya, be further exposed.

AMERICAN CROSSROADS VIDEO CHARGES OBAMA MISLED PUBLIC ON BENGHAZI: American Crossroads in a Web video accused President Obama of misleading the public during Tuesday night's presidential debate over the cause of the Sept. 11 attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. The video, "Act of Terror," released Thursday, compares public statements from Obama, White House press secretary Jay Carney, US Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during the days and weeks following the fatal attack. "White House Press Secretary Jay Carney and UN Ambassador Susan Rice repeatedly referred to the anti-Muslim 'video' as the cause of the attack in subsequent administration statements - with Carney specifically affirming the White House HAD NOT called the Benghazi attack 'terrorism' on September 20," a statement released by American Crossroads said. In one of the most talked-about moments from the second presidential debate, Obama said he had called the assault an "act of terror" the day after the incident, a comment that drew an immediate rebuke from Romney. White House transcripts of Obama's Sept. 12 speech show he said, "No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for." The Romney campaign followed up Wednesday, accusing the White House of providing a "shifting account" during the second debate of the events in Libya. “Though President Obama tried to claim during the debate he immediately characterized the attack as terrorism, he in fact made generic references to 'acts of terror,'" the Romney campaign said in a statement. "And for weeks after it occurred, the Obama administration falsely and repeatedly stated the attack was a spontaneous reaction to a YouTube video, even sending its US Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice on national television five days after the attack to link it to the video,” the campaign said. E.W. JACKSON CALLS OUT SINS OF DEMOCRATIC PARTY: Bishop E.W. Jackson founder of the "Exodus Now" movement has called upon black Christians to leave the Democratic Party, and not vote for Democratic candidates because the party is in "rank rebellion against God." Jackson has called the Democratic Party "anti-Christian, anti-God, anti-Bible, anti-family and anti-life." Jackson says he has received emails from black ministers all over the country indicating they will not vote for the Democratic ticket because the party has deeply offended them, particularly by making same-sex marriage part of its platform. Jackson points to a growing consensus among black church members that their Christianity will prevent them from voting for Obama a second time. "I have spoken in numerous black churches and been interviewed on a variety of black media. Most agree the statements and policies of the Democratic Party and the Obama administration is blatantly anti-Christian." (Charisma)

RJC PRESENTS “PERILOUS TIMES”: The Republican Jewish Coalition presents "Perilous Times," a mini-documentary in which Israeli experts and everyday citizens candidly discuss their concerns about the US-Israel relationship under President Barack Obama. The JNN news team strongly urges you to view this important film before the November elections and to share it with others. Click on the link below. It will only take a few minutes of your time to be further informed on issues that pertain to the perilous weakening of relations between Israel and the United States.

PLANNED PARENTHOOD DOESN’T HAVE MAMMOGRAM MACHINES: During the presidential debate on Tuesday night Obama stated, “When Gov. Romney says we should eliminate funding for Planned Parenthood, there are millions of women all across the country who rely on Planned Parenthood for not just contraceptive care; they rely on it for mammograms.”  The Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed Planned Parenthood does not own any mammogram machines and therefore does not perform mammograms. Last June, the Department of Health and Human Services said in response to a Freedom of Information Act request that no Planned Parenthood clinic in the US has mammogram equipment. (Patriot Update)

NETANYAHU: SANCTIONS HAVEN’T YET ROLLED BACK IRAN’S NUCLEAR PROGRAM: Israel’s PM Benjamin Netanyahu told a meeting of European Union ambassadors on Tuesday: "I want to commend the EU for the tough sanctions that were adopted yesterday against the greatest threat to peace in our time, and that is the tough sanctions against Iran. While these sanctions are hitting the Iranian economy hard, they haven't yet rolled back the Iranian program. We'll know that they're achieving their goal when the centrifuges stop spinning and when the Iranian nuclear program is rolled back. This is a goal that is shared by anyone who wants to guarantee the security and peace of the world, not only in the Middle East, but throughout the world." ISRAEL FORCED TO CONSIDER MILITARY ACTION IN SYRIA: PM Benjamin Netanyahu revealed this week that Israel has been forced to consider injecting itself into Syria's ongoing civil war in order to prevent the country's chemical weapon stockpile from falling into the wrong hands. Netanyahu told European ambassadors that having Syrian weapons of mass destruction reach terrorist groups like Hizbullah, Hamas or even some of the Muslim Brotherhood-dominated rebel groups is unacceptable to the Jewish state. Hizbullah and Hamas, both of which maintain headquarters in Syria and are close to the regime of besieged dictator Bashar Assad, have on numerous occasions bombarded Israeli civilian centers with conventional missiles. Were those projectiles to be outfitted with chemical warheads, the results would be catastrophic. Two weeks ago, US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta acknowledged that America and other Western powers are no longer sure of the whereabouts of all of Syria's chemical stockpile. Panetta said it is conceivable some of those weapons have already been seized by rebel forces, several of which are also affiliated with al Qaeda, and therefore pose a grave threat to US interests. ROCKET ATTACKS THIS YEAR ON ISRAEL AT RATE OF TWO EVERY DAY: Gaza terrorists continued to target Israelis Wednesday afternoon, firing the 506th missile or mortal bomb this year. Missiles or shells have hit at a rate of almost two a day. The rocket fell in an open area in the Western Negev, and no damage was reported. Terrorists, who still are called “militants” by foreign news services and some Israeli mainstream newspapers, struck next to a kindergarten in Sderot Wednesday night, causing damage to the building, which was empty at the time, but no injuries. “Since the beginning of 2012, more than 505 rockets fired from Gaza hit Israel, including over 45 during October alone,” the IDF stated Wednesday. The recent firing by terrorists of an anti-aircraft missile at the IAF has led military sources to believe that Hamas is ready to force an escalation of violence with Israel, possibly including a massive rocket barrage within a short period of time.
