“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it.” Revelation 3: 11-12

HAMAS: GAZA NOT SAFE FOR ABBAS; UNITY DEAL DEAD: Hamas co-founder Mahmoud Zahar indicated Tuesday there may be attempts on the life of Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas should he visit Gaza. Zahar stressed Hamas was not interested in jeopardizing the internal security situation in the Gaza Strip should Abbas decide to visit and cause internal Fatah violence to occur as a result of "unsettled accounts." According to al-Quds al-Arabi, Zahar may have been referring to the ongoing conflict between the Palestinian Authority chairman and ex-Fatah official Muhammad Dahlan. Dahlan recently asserted a $1 billion fund had gone missing since Abbas became president in 2005. Dahlan's accusations including calling Abbas a “dictator and a bully.” An internal corruption probe launched by the PA has already seen five ministers close to Abbas dismissed for embezzlement and other offenses. Zahar dismissed attempts by Abbas to rekindle the stalled reconciliation process between Hamas and Fatah's leadership as futile, saying of the failed process: "The reconciliation agreement was completed in Cairo, but its implementation is defunct." (INN)  Indeed prayer works! We have been praying and asking others to pray the unity deal between Hamas and Fatah, two terrorist entities and foes of Israel, would fall apart. Please continue to intercede for the division of principalities and powers that are enemies of the Jewish state.

PA TERROR ATTACK IN TEL AVIV WAS AIMED AT 2,000 YOUTH: Police prevented a huge catastrophe by stopping a Palestinian Authority terrorist who wounded eight people at a Tel Aviv nightclub patronized by approximately 2,000 youth. Dozens of police officers brought down the terrorist, age 25, after he hijacked a taxicab and was surprised by a police roadblock, which he slammed into and then drove for another half a mile. He then reached a nightclub holding approximately 2,000 youth at a party and continued knifing his victims until police manhandled him. All of those wounded suffered light to moderate injuries. Shechem, from where the terrorist arrived, is under control by the Palestinian Authority, supposedly committed to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure. The incident was further proof of the PA’s lack of control and interest to prevent terrorist attacks against Israel. (INN)

FRESH TERROR ALERT: TWO ROADS NEAR EILAT CLOSED OFF: Another terror attack against Israel is unfolding on the Egyptian border, according to intelligence assessments. Large security forces have spread out along the border, and highways 10 and 12 have been sealed off for civilian traffic. The roads were closed and then reopened 12 days ago when a similar terror alert existed. The head of IDF Southern Command later admitted the decision to reopen the roads was a mistake. The mistake was costly: terrorists managed to reach the roads despite the heightened IDF and police presence and murdered eight Israeli citizens. The terrorist group behind the current infiltration attempt is the Islamic Jihad. (INN) Terrorist attacks are increasing daily against Israel.  Pray for angelic protections against communities within range of enemy projectiles and that other means of terrorist assaults will be apprehended before they take place.

GAZA-BASED SALAFI GROUP LAUNCHED ROCKETS AT ISRAEL: A radical Salafi Islamist group affiliated with the international al Qaeda terrorist organization has taken responsibility for launching Sunday morning's Grad rocket attack at southern Israel. The Jama'at al-Tawhid wa'l-Jihad (JTJ) jihadist organization issued a statement claiming “credit” for the attack on Be'er Sheva, the largest city in Israel's southern region. The missile was intercepted and neutralized by the Iron Dome anti-missile defense system at about 7:15 a.m. local time. Salafi groups have slowly grown to be a major power in Gaza in the past several years, with thousands of Hamas members switching sides to join the more radical Islamic factions, all of which are linked to al Qaeda and many of which operate in Judea and Samaria as well. ISRAEL DEPLOYING WARSHIPS IN RED SEA – IRAN FOLLOWING SUIT: The IDF on Monday deployed two warships in the red sea Red Sea near the border with Egypt following warnings that terrorists are planning another attack on southern Israel from Egyptian soil. Also on Monday, IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz ordered increased deployments across the entire southern command, especially near the Israel-Egypt border. The move, ostensibly due to increased terror warnings, comes concurrent to Israel's agreement to allow Egypt to deploy 1,500 more troops in areas B and C of the Sinai in order to conduct counter-terror operations on the Peninsula. Area A is the sector adjoining the Israeli-Egyptian border. Israel's south, especially near the border, has been flooded with military forces, deployed in a manner defined by one security source as "unprecedented." (Arutz-7)

IDF TRAINS SETTLERS FOR SEPTEMBER: The IDF has begun training Jewish residents of Judea and Samaria in advance of an anticipated Arab onslaught in September. Arabs are expected to try and march en masse on Jewish communities, hoping to overwhelm the Jews and provoke them into shooting at the Arabs. Videos of Jewish settlers shooting into Arab crowds can then be used for propaganda purposes to portray Israel in a demonic light. The mass marches are to be part of a Palestinian Authority public diplomacy campaign that will accompany a PA appeal to the UN for recognition as an independent state. (Ha’aretz)

AL QAEDA BOMBS ALGERIA FOR SUPPORTING QADDAFI: Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) has claimed responsibility for twin suicide bombings that killed 18 people days ago at a military academy in Algeria. At least 26 others were wounded in the attack. The North African offshoot of the international al Qaeda terrorist organization claimed 36 people had been killed and more than 35 wounded at the Cherchell academy, west of Algiers. One of the bombers was riding a motorcycle when he detonated the explosives. The second terrorist detonated his bomb seconds later. Both were in front of the entrance to the academy's officers' mess hall, when they carried out the attack, timed to occur as all the soldiers had gathered to break the Ramadan fast. The explosives-packed motorcycle was intended to punish the Algerian government for supporting the regime of former Libyan dictator Muammar Qaddafi. (Israel International)

ISRAELI FLAG FLYING OVER EGYPT EMBASSY AGAIN: More than a week after it was removed during a demonstration over the deaths of the Egyptian soldiers at the Israel-Egypt border, the Israeli embassy in Cairo is once again flying the Israeli flag. (Ynet News) Continue to intercede for good relations and co-operation between Israel and Egypt.

BRINGING TEXAS LONGHORNS HOME TO ISRAEL: One of the biggest problems Israeli farmers in the north and south of the country face are constant thefts by Arabs and Bedouin, who swoop in and steal crops, equipment, livestock, and anything else they can get their hands on. Farmers now have their own patrols, looking out for bands of thieves who, in one night, can cause hundreds of thousands of shekels worth of financial and physical damage. Robin Rosenblatt of the Israel Longhorn Project has an idea he thinks could help: Crossbreeding Israeli cows with Texas Longhorns – the “tough guys” of the feedlot, which are able to stand up to the difficult climate conditions in Israel and the natural predators inherent in the semi-desert conditions and which can also defend themselves against aggressors. Longhorns are the perfect breed to deal with predators of any type – from jackals to Arab thieves, says Rosenblatt. When approached by a predator Longhorns are known for their banding together to rush – or even gore, with their substantial horns – the predator, who usually gets the message before facing dozens of huge cows barreling down on him. The Segals have a vast vision for God's purposes in the nations and to the people of Israel. In fact, their longing to help rebuild Israel both spiritually and physically inspired them to pioneer the non-profit charity organization, Vision for Israel and The Joseph Storehouse. This arm of their ministry focuses on assisting the poor and needy, widows and orphans, and reaching out to the new Jewish immigrants coming into the land of Israel. Vision 's most challenging project to date is "The Joseph StorehouseŽ", humanitarian aid center, located in the hills of Jerusalem.
